Our menu is centered around American brunch, complemented by a selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes that reflect our background and add a unique touch.

In addition to brunch, we are building a strong coffee and beverage program focused on smooth, low-acidity coffee, seasonal drinks, and creative offerings such as espresso served with ice cream, mocktails, matcha, and cloud smoothies.

We're open every day from 7 AM to 3 PM — serving brunch, hand-crafted Italian coffee, and house-made pastries from the moment we unlock the doors until we close.

Brunchella sits on West Cary Street in Carytown — Richmond's historic commercial district, home to 230+ locally-owned shops, the 1928 Byrd Theatre, and the city's first strip shopping center (Cary Court, 1938).

Heart of Carytown

3445 W. Cary Street — one block east of the Byrd Theatre, on the south side of Cary's eclectic one-mile commercial stretch.

History

Named in 1974

"Carytown" was chosen by public vote in 1974. The street itself was renamed after Col. Archibald Cary, a Virginia Revolutionary leader.

Landmark

The Byrd Theatre

A restored Italian Renaissance Revival movie palace, operating continuously since 1928 — the first cinema in Virginia with sound.

Culture

Watermelon Festival

Every August, Carytown hosts one of Virginia's largest single-day festivals — drawing tens of thousands to the street.

Our space spent its last decade as a beer-and-wine destination (the former Garden Grove Brewing). We're proud to bring brunch and coffee back to this corner of Cary Street.
